Since they just released the new "Fantastic Four" trailer and the cast to the all-female Ghostbusters reboot, we thought this was a good time to count down the Top Five Movie Reboots of All Time!

But first....that new Fantastic Four trailer:

#5) Casino Royale- How do you follow up the awfulness of the Pierce Brosnan James Bond experience?  Wait almost a decade, hire Daniel Craig, and make an origin story.  Surprise, Surprise, it now only worked, it was awesome!

#4) The Amazing Spider Man- How do you make America forget about Tobey Maguire's disastrous Spidermen movies?  Get a relative unknown to play the lead role and super hottie Emma Stone to play Gwen Stacy.  Finally a Spider Man movie we can believe in!

#3) Star Trek- Remember when Star Trek was a joke?  Not anymore thanks to JJ Abrams, Chris Pine, and Zachary Quinto.  Even the under appreciated "Star Trek Into Darkness" with Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan is one of the best things to come out in years!

#2) Batman Begins- How do you come back from the clusterfuck of a franchise Joel Schumacher left behind?  After Mr. Freeze, George Clooney's weird bat suit, and Alicia Silverstone's unfortunate Bat Girl, thank god Christopher Nolan showed up and decided to make a grittier, more serious, almost Godfather level superhero trilogy about the caped crusader.  Only drawback: Christian Bale's "Batman voice."

#1) Rise of the Planet of the Apes- How do you come back from the disastrous Tim Burton remake?  James Franco that's how!  I almost can't believe I said that, but I also can't believe how awesome the new Planet of the Apes movies are!  Here's to many, many more in the future!
