TOP FIVE EPIC FAILS IN TV HISTORY!

In honor of the anti-climactic and ridiculously bad special "Eaten Alive" today we count down the Top Five Epic Fails in TV History!

First, let's celebrate last night's Epic Fail with this clip:

#5) Lebron James: The Decision- Not only did we already know what he was going to say, but there was no reason for ESPN to give him two hours to build up to an announcement everyone saw coming....

#4) The Mysteries of Al Capone's Vault- For 90 minutes the world watched with baited breath as Geraldo Rivera hosted the opening of Al Capone's Vault.  After all that, no one expected the final result, that there was nothing (NOTHING) in there!

#3) Mermaids from the Discovery Channel- Fool me once, shame on you.  This was the first time the Discovery Channel, along with their sister channel Animal Planet lied to their audience airing a special on a Mermaid body that was discovered and later turned out to be an elaborate April Fool's joke from the network.  Watching Discovery has never been the same since...

#2) Man vs. Beast- a one hour reality special on Fox that featured such epic Man vs. Animal feats as Kobayashi vs. a Giant Bear in a Hot Dog eating contest.  Don't believe me?  Watch below...

#1) Star Wars Holiday Special- No Excuses George Lucas!  No Excuses!  If you thought Jar Jar Binks was bad, watch this thing...
